Barrel Malibu is a comfortable space filled with great high-tech equipment containing a selection of California and the world’s most interesting and intriguing wines. Add a carefully crafted menu of food that accents the tasting experience, along with cheese and charcuterie from The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, and the result is a much-needed hangout in Malibu.

 

At Barrel Malibu, a selection of almost 100 wines are available by the taste or glass and are served with the advice of professional staff. Our guests are also free to experiment on their own in our “self-service adult wine arcade” where you can sample a wide range of wines at your own pace and whim.

Our state-of-the-art Enomatic wine preservation equipment removes the risk of opening an expensive bottle to pour by the glass. Dispensed by the ounce, the price of small tasting portions puts the experience of rare wines within more budgets, while at the same time enabling you to try a wide range of wines over the course of your visit. If you find a favorite, enjoy it by the glass or bottle.

 

The folks behind Malibu Village Wines have assembled a lineup of wines that reflects the eclectic nature of Malibu. Tasting portions of rare wines most people have only heard others rave about such as Screaming Eagle, Harlan, Kistler, Sine Qua Non, L’Aventure, Sassiccaia, and others will be rotated into the tasting lineup. And where else in town will you find older vintages of classics from Diamond Creek or Heitz Martha’s Vineyard available by the glass? Also in the Enomatic are wines from some of the world’s hottest new boutique wineries such as Saxum, Sea Smoke, Owen Roe, and many others.

 

And if that’s not enough, the Malibu Colony and its Beach sit 45 feet away from the back door of Barrel Malibu. Stop by and linger, learn, and meet your friends and neighbors.
